Alright, let's get one thing straight: I'm so over these tech companies and their PR spin. Seriously, give me a break. It's all buzzwords and empty promises, designed to make you think they're actually doing something useful instead of just figuring out new ways to siphon money from your bank account.
You ever read one of these corporate blog posts or listen to a CEO drone on at some conference and just feel...empty? Like you've just consumed a whole lot of words that somehow add up to absolutely nothing? That's the point, people. It's deliberate. They’re trying to impress you with jargon while simultaneously avoiding saying anything that could be held against them later.
It's like they've all taken a master class in corporate doublespeak. "Synergy," "disruption," "innovation"—these words used to mean something. Now? They're just filler. It's the verbal equivalent of those fake books people put on their shelves to look smart.
And don't even get me started on the "mission statements." Please. These things are focus-grouped to death until they become completely devoid of meaning. They're supposed to inspire, but all they inspire is a deep sense of cynicism.
The worst part is how they try to frame all this as progress. Like they're saving the world, one meaningless app update at a time. They slap a feel-good veneer on everything, pretending they're solving real problems when they're usually just creating new ones.

I saw some garbage the other day about "leveraging AI for social good." What does that even mean? It sounds nice, I guess. But what are the actual tangible outcomes? Who benefits, and how? Or is it just another way to automate jobs and further concentrate wealth at the top? I’m guessing the latter.
It’s like selling snake oil, but instead of a dusty wagon, they're using a slick website and a carefully curated social media presence. And people are still buying it. Why? Because hope sells. And these companies are masters at selling the illusion of a better future, even if that future never arrives.
Look, I'm not saying all tech is bad. There are undoubtedly smart, well-intentioned people working on genuinely innovative and beneficial things. But they're getting drowned out by the noise, by the endless stream of hype and BS.
What's the solution? I wish I knew. Maybe we need to start demanding more transparency, more accountability. Maybe we need to stop rewarding companies that prioritize profit over people. Maybe...nah, who am I kidding? Probably nothing will change. We'll keep clicking, keep consuming, and keep letting them get away with it. And I'll keep ranting about it.
